What type of sports equipment do you carry?
At Play It Again Sports, we carry a wide selection of new and used sports equipment. While our primary focus is hockey—including hockey sticks, skates and other essential protective equipment—we also carry athletic equipment for baseball, golf and other popular sports and activities in Lethbridge such as baseball and golf.
Do you only carry used sports equipment?
No, in fact the bulk of our inventory is new sports equipment. We are in the process of expanding our product selection and floor space to create a one-stop-shop for all of your sport equipment needs.
Do you take trade-ins on used sporting goods?
Yes, but we request that anything you bring in for our consideration be in good, sellable condition. If we can’t move it, we won’t consign it.
How does the trade-in process work?
When you bring in your used equipment, we’ll go through it and either make you and offer to buy it outright, or we’ll place it on consignment. The choice is yours. You’ll receive higher value if you choose consignment, however, the process takes longer.
How long does a consignment usually take?
In our experience, it typically takes three months or less to sell used sports equipment. Compared to other Lethbridge sports stores, we have a good turnover for used equipment because we price our product to be affordable.
What happens if my consigned equipment doesn’t sell?
If after three months there is no movement on your equipment, it usually means it’s priced too high. You could either agree to lower the price and try again, sell it to us outright, or take it back.
Do you rotate your equipment seasonally?
We roll with the seasons to offer the best product selection possible. We don’t have the same amount of floor space as some sports equipment stores, so we try to arrange our display area for maximum effect.
